python guru, I have to disagree with your temps.

A hot spot of 92* should be constantly maintained for digestion. An ambient temp of 80-85* should also be constantly maintained. No need for night drops.

OP: is your snake sheding or due for a shed? Usually my girls only go after they shed every 3-4 weeks.

I agree, BP's dont require a basking area thats any higher then there regulated Hot side of 92-94*f cool side should be 80-85*F and ambient air should be 80 as well.
