    Appetite's Back!

Yay! Tonight was feeding night. Alice has been refusing since Christmas and Charger since about 5 weeks ago. We had some warm days this past week down here in Texas and I noticed their behavior had changed a little bit...they seemed more mellow at night. I opened the tops to both of their tanks and let them sniff the thawed rats while I warmed up the rat pinkies for my tiny boa, Vincent. After Vincent took his first rat pinkie from me, I turned to look at the BP tanks and Charger was completely out of her hide cruising around. I offered her a rat and she took it with no hesitation. By this time, Alice was poking his head out. He took a few sniffs of his rat and snatched it right off the tongs.

    Whew....I'm so relieved

It's always nice when they feed after refusing for a while.

Yeah, it's that time of year. Our BP just ate after going for 2 months without. Amazing how they can slow their systems like that.
