Re: humidity for a bearded dragon??
They're a desert species, they don't need high humidity. I don't keep them myself, but this is what I've heard and it's sort of desert = low humidity.

Exactly what Dutch said; Beardies need low humidity. I don't use water bowls in my enclosures to help keep humidity down.

Re: humidity for a bearded dragon??
There really should not be any humidity. The only humidity my dragon enclosures get is when I give them a little spay of water in between their baths. My dragons are on tile when I had them on sand I did not spray them down.

Just curious, but how and when do you let them drink?

Most Bearded Dragons don't readily drink from a water dish. I give regular baths and they get most of the moisture they need from the greens they eat.

My dragon drinks water from a bowl! I have a screened top enclosure so I leave a water dish in for him and its changed often. High humidity can cause URI in beardies.

Dont want to sound stupid. . . but what is URI?
My water bowl is big, but the humidity is low due to the basking light and the big cage.

URI = Upper resperatory infection. Very bad.
