    BP growth rate?

    So it's almost march 2009.

My 08 girl is up to 550 grams, though she may be a little lighter with a completely empty stomach(last fed on sunday)

What is the likelihood she'd be up to weight next breeding season? Is it predictable at all? I know that BPs have very different growth rates. She feeds extremely well, and I can only assume she'll gain weight faster and faster as she outgrows feeder sizes.

normally about the 3rd winter but you never really can say. its like that girl in 3rd grade that you are same height as, then in 4th shes 7 inches taller than you, but when you graduate you have a foot and a half on her. all living things have their own growth rate.

    Re: BP growth rate?

It all depends on many variants. The main ones would be the following:

    Heat
    Feeding routine
    Age
With BP females they tend to fast at a certain point as well.

As far as BPs I have had a yearling hit over 1500 grams.
While I have had a 3 year old still sitting at 800 grams.
On average, my females will be breeding size by their third year.
