    Color of Tubs

Ok, this may seem like a silly question. I was gonna go with the reptile basic rack, but i thought it might be fun to try to build a rack myself seeing as I've never built anything before. So I decided to go with the same tubs, the Iris MCB L 30 qt, and I have been all over town looking for them. The only ones I have found were at office max, but they are bright blue! I think I'll just order them from reptiletubs.com, but is there anything wrong with a colored tub? Could the total lack of light have any effect on snakes?

Maybe I should go with them then, but the blue is really ugly!

I actually saw those today! The measurements are a little different tho. I will probably go with them now that i see how hard the others are to get.

I am going to get those for my rack, I think they are the same height as the 16qt tubs as well (gotta double check this)

    Re: Color of Tubs

I've used black(actually a smokey grey), blue, red, orange and this purpley color. Sterilite makes seasonal 6qt tubs and they come in all sorts of colors. The babies have never cared what color tub they were in.
