Anyone belong to any Herpetological Societies?

Do any of you belong to any herp/reptile/zoological societies?

Im currently in Upstate NY and will be moving within the next few months so i was looking for something National. I am looking to move to maryland, Delaware or an area around there. I'm a senior in college and graduate in May. Ive been reading a lot about a few of them but most of their websites arent very informative.

My main goal is to be able to talk with other reptile owners. I would also like to be able to talk about my book and possibly network with jobs and so forth.

Would anyone be able to recommend or tell me about any herp societies they belong to?

I keep intending to join the Toledo Herp Society but never get around to it. We need more than 24 hours in a day!
