Aww thanks Dale! If Kate was reading over my shoulder though she'd say it's only because she's wearing that gawd awful Army required hairdo. She told me that the small granny bun is her usual one and for when she wears her Class A's she does some sort of bun with a sock in it?????? She forgot to show me this but just seems funky to me LOL.

My son just turned 9 and already is up to my shoulders. It will so weird when he is taller than I am, and I don't EVEN want to think of when he moves out. I only have a couple years of cub scouts left where my presence and help is actually desired. eep.

I'm glad you were able to have so much time with your daughter and whole family together. How awesome!! You even have a great family picture (which is something I need to do soon too).
Well the funny part of that picture is I took it the last morning she was here Christie. I was so excited to have all my kids home that I kept forgetting my camera. She was leaving really early to drive back to Texas so I not only dragged the two middles (who are teens remember) out of bed early to say goodbye to their sister, I made the awful demand they actually get dressed at 7 a.m. and SMILE FOR THE CAMERA!

Momma can holler louder than any old drill sgt. LMAO!

That is such a wonderful thing to say - thank you so very much.

Kate's so much like another mom for Michael. She was 14 when he was born and even attended his midwife delivered birthing. Actually Mike held Mikey first then Kate held him before I even got to LOL. They are so much closer than some siblings and this seperation is sometimes very hard on both of them. Kate sent Mikey a stuffed bear not long after she left home for Texas. She told him she "put hugs in it for him when he missed her" and when she was here she hugged the bear some more to recharge it for him.

Glad you had that time with Kate and will see her again, and yes... striking the resemblance that Kate has to you! But then again, she is your progeny.

Again, just a really nice thread, and some great pics. Nice to see family pics!

Bruce
Thanks Bruce and heck we didn't forget the snake thing. Kate left here with a lovely normal female from our last year's hatchlings.
