    she never does this, is it ok?

    i fed my snakes tonight, and i was going to give my 415g female bp two 22g adult mice. i fed her the fist one about 30mins ago and she is eating it backwards. and not only that she will eat a little bit and then put a coil on it again, is this just to hold it? she is still barely past the hips, is this ok?

    For some reason, they will do this from time to time, even if they've been eating head first consistantly. As long as she gets it down, she'll be fine.

    One of my snakes does this on occasion and doesn't have any problems thereafter. It is odd though and every time I have to ask him what he's doing.
