New 20 gallon tank setup for my growing ball *take 2*

After the last thread I took everyone's advice into consideration. Replaced the half logs I had in there with reptile basics medium sized hides, foiled the top, added a lamp since it is cold in this house right now and we are good to go I think. The water dish I might change later but it keeps the humidity up without me having to mist more than once a day now and she seems to like it.

    Before:

    After:

And yes before anyone asks there is a UTH on the right side of the tank controlled by a Repti-Temp 500R. The lamp is on the dimmer. She also started eating again yesterday which has been a problem. Took everyone's advice to start feeding in tank and left a f/t mouse right in front of her hide(before I changed the tank over since I want to wait another week from now to feed her in her new setup) and it was gone when I got back from the store. Very happy with how this turned out!

Hey thanks all. The only thing that worries me now is that I'll never be able to tell which hide she is in without disturbing her. I can't really see into either of them lol. I can sometimes see a tail or some such in the warm one though and she is almost always in there. I'm just glad she ate yesterday and feeding her in the tank makes things 100x easier not to mention if she doesn't take right away I can just leave it at her door and she can eat it later.

I just disturb them, lol. I just lift up their hide to make sure she is in there, she does this "WHY ARE YOU LIFTING UP MY HOUSE" look, and then I put it back down and all is normal.

Did not realize how bad my other setup was... My snake is now thermoregulating regularly. She's in her cold hide as much as her warm one now. I just have to guess at where she is all the time now lol.

Got her to take a f/t hopper last night in the new setup. She seemed settled in and hasn't eaten too much in the last 2 months so I gave it a shot and she came right out of her hide and struck at it. She has a bad habit where she doesn't coil sometimes she didn't coil last night either. She just knocked it out of the tongs, looked at it like "oh, did I do that?", then looked around like she was checking to make sure the coast was clear and then drug it back into her hide and swallowed it. I guess whatever works... I'm just happy she's back on feed. I probably need to step up to full size mice at this point. I have a few f/t large ones in the freezer so that's next up for her.
