    Shed~~~

Hey guys my bp just recently shed and it was perfect! The only thing is that I see like 2 little blood stots on the shed. I'm guessing that he just got a little cut on a log or something when he shed but I just wanted to make sure, so I posted this here. What do you guys think?

    Sorry theyr not the best
    Thanks,
    Kevin

    Re: Shed~~~

I have never heard of this happening. Have you checked your snake over for any cuts or scrapes?

probably got caught on a scale or two and tor the skin under them a tiny bit.... nothing to worry about. and some could be from the vent (anus) which is not uncommon

    Re: Shed~~~

    Hi,

Yes as the others have said there is quite often a small amount of blood from the delicate skin inside the vent when it seperates during the shed.

As long as it is only a small amount and stops quickly it is definately nothing to worry about.

    Re: Shed~~~

I had this same thing happen with my male 08 when it shed for the first time with me, and at first I was really worried. Upon closer inspection, I spotted a tiny bit of dried blood by one of his spurs. I was wondering if maybe he'd just yanked the spur a little or something. Either way, he is perfectly fine so it was obviously a minor issue.
