Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a ride!"
Oh I definitely have two other hides for her. Simply temporary (Two terra cotta pot bottoms turned upside down, one there in the picture) I plan on replacing with some Reptile Basics ones as soon as I get paid. I have the half log in there just to help her transition and help her feel more at home.
This is a picture of her under the terra cotta pot. She fits perfectly!!!
Too cute. If you have access to a drill I picked up a small masonry drill bit and some files for less than 3 dollars at Big Lots. drilled some holes in the side of a terracotta pot, broke a half round out, filed down the edges rinsed with water. After that I moved to a melemine bowl from Target 3.50 each. I used a dremel to make those openings. Her next step will be medium reptile basic hides.
