    Ultratherm

I just got an Ultratherm for one of my glass tanks. It says to put it between polystyrene and the tank. I already have the foam on the bottom, fitting flush to the glass, so just cut a hole for the terminal block and that's it? Shouldn't I leave a bit of room for some heat to escape? Like how the zoomed gives those little risers?

thats what i did. i cut a hole in the foam. placed it in there. i didn't even cover the UTH with foam. i didn't see the need i have no issues with temperature regulation. i cut the hole exactly to fit the size of the UTH.
