When I feed my snakes during breeding season I was always told that you need to keep them apart after feeding to keep from canibalism. I would think this could be very important especially with kingsnakes seeing that there food of choice is snake. But what do i know I have only been keeping snakes for almost 10 years now. I also would like to know how you get all those ball pythons to take frozen mice straight out of the egg. I can tell that most of the stock at these stores is only about a month old at that unless you are only feeding them once a month. Most breeders take several weeks if not months to get a baby to switch over to frozen. Unless everyone i know is lying to me and thats only my problem.
no to mention you ever see 2 snakes constrict on one pray item? NEVER turns out pretty... and i agree how do you get a snake to eat F/T out of the egg when they are pre programmed for live due to years of evolution.
