I used to feed in a seperate enclosure, what a pain when you have several snakes, I started feeding them in their own enclosures 3 weeks ago, my Pheobe now thinks that when she hears me opening her enclosure or the tank under hers that it's feeding time lol, she will come out of her...oops his hide in feed mode.
I keep a misting bottle handy now so when I open the enclosure and he comes out I mist him to let him know it's not feed time he goes back into hide and stays so I can spot clean etc. hope this helps.
