Warming Up

Well spring seems to be right around the corner. I know it won't be warming up until April or May, but I had this question about temperature and taking your herps outside. At what temperature are you comfortable taking your herps outside? This includes ball pythons, boas, lizards, corn snakes, ect. Even though some of these are nocturnal, I can't imagine sunlight would hurt them. (And I promise I wouldn't take the herps out to heavily populated areas. I'm talking about my back yard for a photo shoot or something).

I won't take my snakes outside unless its at least 75 degrees, and I avoid leaving them in direct sunlight for to long either. Usually if I take a snake outside its for a quick picture so I'm not worried about them overheating mostly concerned with it being too cold.

I actually prefer cooler temps than warm temps. Snakes have a much larger tolerance with cool temps than warm temps. 70-75 is pretty much perfect for a photo shoot.
