female coughing maybe sneezing alot!

one of my female rats i was getting ready to send in the male when i notice she was making like a coughing/sneezing sound. i use pine bedding so it migh be that but had never had a problem with it be for so i was wondering if there is anything i can do for her and should i wait to intruduce the male so he don't catch it thanks jason

Wait to breed her and get her isolated asap just incase and disinfect her cage/tub. Remove the pine and see if that helps if she's not better either take her to the vets or kill her off. I'd kill her off as I wouldn't want to feed her babies of my snakes if she was medicated( also vet visits cost more $$ then just getting a replacement when it comes to feeders).

I would switch the bedding, its probably the pine that causing her to sneeze.

i jus changed the bedding and for about a good 2 hours she hasn't made a nosie it seems like she does it right after new bedding is put in it may be he dust in there

i would say that it is more than likely the dust from the new bedding has not settled yet and that at times can cause them to sneeze.
