    From what i have heard it isn't unusual for a snake to take a meal after being moved around. We have brought home some smaller snakes from a breeder friend who says they just don't eat reagularly yet, and everytime we get one of those home we offer food. I think all but maybe one took a meal. The only thing you can do is try if he is really bothered by the move he is going to turn it down. If he isn't then he will probably take the meal without a problem. I wouldn't be to worried either way.
