they sell led tape for computer case mods. all it would take is a little know how and some simple soldering to get it working on a 12V dc wall power source. and would cold half that.

why are you making this so complicated. Google rope lights and go to shopping. They sell them at bed bath and beyond, home depot, target, some drug stores. This stuff is not hard to find and doesn't new to be "wired". It just has a plug attached to it.

ohhh lol
well i brough home a cool blue and a cool red cathode tube light. I just finished wiring up a 12v DC 500mA power source for it. im about to try them out. the red one will be fine he wont even see it. the blue one im curious to see if it irritates him. i hope not as i could use the blue one for day light and red for night viewing.
