    multiple snakes 1 tank?

Out of pure curiousity, is it possible to keep 2 or more snakes together in a cage?
I am thinking in the future to breed so when I have the babies can i just put them together in a good sized tank.

it is possible to co-house 2 snakes at once. but you may find that you have domination issues and one will stop feeding. this is why most suggest you do not practice this.

I did this for awhile but recently placed them into their own tank. They seem to be happier and the cages are far easier to keep clean, etc.

    NO

Not worth the risk to the snakes.

some will say you can others will say no. it's ultimately up to you what you choose for you animals however think of this, If one gets ill the others in the cage might also catch the illness. should one regurgitate its meal you might not know who did it. while not common i have heard of cannibalism (this is a bit extreme but its really worse case senario). it's just easier to monitor the animals when each one is in its own mini environment.

For a beginner it's likely to be a bit much.

For an experienced keeper it's not a problem.
