You should check by your nearest reptile show, you can get pretty good deals on males there.

if your looking for cheap this site called mickeys nightmares (if you google it itll be the second or third site, itll say ball pytohn breeders on it) has a few for 85
i got my pastel from them a while back for 75 dollars, needless to say some people might not think hes the best looking pastel, but hes actually got really bright color and the ones they have up now have some nice blushing on them. worth a look.

    Re: pastel

It's funny to see people think that $100 is too much to pay for a pastel. When I got my first ball python in 2005, pastels were still over $1000 each. It's sad, really - to see how de-valued they've become in four years.

That said, I won't be selling my male pastels for under $150, if they turn out like last year's pastels. You truly do get what you pay for.

I bet people were saying the exact same thing when pastels were $1000.

    Re: pastel

I'm wondering about some of these pastels... I looked into a bunch of them and they look brown? Although, yeah, they got the light colored eyes and very light blushing. I'm just wondering if it is just the camera or what. My pastel is definitely yellow. She's an '07. She turns dull during shed and the top part browns out but after the skin comes off, she's back to yellow.
Anyway, I paid $250 for her last October at the pet store.
