I wonder if the Vickers fans can remember back to the Fall 06' Talladega race when ole' Brian pulled a bone-head move of his own and took Jr and the 48 car out on the last lap? I was sitting in the front stretch for that one and had a birds eye view.

Kyle had a strong car, and would have been there at the end if he wasn't taken out....I'm not a big fan of his, but he had the best Toyota, by far for the whole day.

Jeff's car chief and crew chief screwed him outta' this one. The camber set-up on his right front was WAY to aggressive. Gotta' be able to get more than 25 laps on a set. Both those right front tires they took off after the long runs were about to go...and blowing a right front at Daytona is good way to end your day in a hurry.
I didn't know about the thing in '06...I only started following NASCAR last year because of my roommates...A little revenge perhaps? I can't even remember how many cars that took out, but it was a substantial amount of the front runners, hate to see a race "finish" without the best cars at that point in the race.

I saw one of the front rights off of the #24 & it didn't look good. I think you hit the nail on the head with the camber setting. You would think that their practice time would be enough to figure it out, but I guess not.

On another tire note...It has seemed that last year and the first race this year that goodyear's tires are crap. Has it been like this for long? The guy from GY pretty much said that they were putting their best out there, but so many tires have just been shredded the past 2 years. Do you think that's on GY or NASCAR for introducing the COY too soon, or both?
