Unless you are pressed for cash I recommend you hold on to them and see the project through to completion.

Yes, homoxhomo breeding of an albino male to a caramel female was done last year and I kept all the offspring. I was thinking that the "normal" albino would wash out the caramel because it would turn the T completly off. Am I right on this? I mean since a normal albino is a T- and a caramel is a T+ it just makes sense that the offspring expressing both traits would look like a normal albino. Thats the reason I wondering on the price of the hets....though it wasn't worth messing with it. I might stay the course and breed the hets to see what comes out now.

Re: For the breeders out there

    yes it does make sense.

I know that in the past, some breeders who bought het caramel pairs from NERD actually hatched normal albino. And nerd said that he breed one of his albino to a caramel in the past and it's possible.

Well I still don't know if any of those ever produced caramel, may be there was a mistake in the breeding facility or something.

So as much as I know, no one ever got albino - caramel albino double homozygous. If you ever hatch them, your hets would be worth more money.

And since it have never been prooved yet, the double hets are not worth much. But they would be worth less if the double het prove to not being able to produce double homozygous.

So if you really want to sell them, advertise them by calculating their value for you and how much it would be worth for you to sell them and a little higher. If doesn't sell you can lower them. But I think you should keep them

Well, if you have too many females, you can always send one my way
