    Who said anything about a mere slap upside the head? When I am met with things like this, my morals towards people of this calibre are about equal to the morals they have towards their animals.

    Thanks a tonne for the responses everyone. I was at work when he told me and it really put me off, and nobody understood why it bothered me so much. I asked him if he was going to buy anymore reptiles (since he got a new apartment) and he said probably. I told him I could get him some "sweet" set-ups for cheap and I would even do it for him. He wasn't interested. Go figure. So then I laid it on him a little more about animals not being disposable like that but he didn't really care.
