has there ever been a study done...where say you have a morph lets say pastel and in the clutch you have 4 pastels and 1 normal...now the ratio was 4.1 say you breed one of the pastels out of that clutch...do you think your odds are better for the offspring to throw more pastels then lets say a pastel that came out a clucth with 4 normals and one pastel...just a thought

I'm not an expert, but I highly highly doubt it =P It's a 50/50 chance for each individual egg to be a pastel, and it ended up being a really lucky clutch.

That's just like me saying I went to vegas last December and won a thousand bucks on three out of five slot machines, so if I go back this December I'll have a 3:5 shot at winning if I use the same slots.

Inheriting genes is a 1 out of 2 chance across the board (one from mom, one from dad), so there would be no difference in the two pastels. If there was any research to support anything to the contrary, I imagine it would revolutionize the way we think about gene inheritance.
