How often can I play with my snake?

I just got him for Valentine's Day. I'm so excited! I love playing with him, and I only get him out if he's moving around. I don't want to interrupt his sleep. I just don't want to stress him out. I know he needs time to adjust to his new habitat. I just want to make sure he's comfortable. How often does everyone else get their snakes out??

im just kidding. give him a week or too. alot of people would say wait 4 feedings but depends on the snake. they are all different

Lol, since its very seldom the my bp is ever moving around, I just get him out whenever. Just be sure to wait 2 days after feeding to hold him and you may want to give about a week to get settled in to hold him also.

Leave him alone for a week. Also don't handle him for 36-48 hours after feeding. Other than that, have at it.
I tried the only takin them out when they are cruising around but they only really do that if they are stressed or hungry. I take my girls out once a day usually. Unless you have him out for the whole day, he will have plenty of time to sleep.

Ok. That's great. You guys are right though. he doesn't seem to move around too much. I've been catching him in the morning right when i turn on the lights, and he stops. i was just overexcited at first. I am going to give him about a week to get used to things. Thank you to everyone!!

I don't blame you! When I got my bp I was very excited and I "accidentally" took him out before the week was up. Lol they are very fun
