    What kind of pastel?

I got the two of these pastels from a local shop that got them from separate breeders. The shop did not know the specific type of pastel. I am pretty sure both are different types. I was hoping that someone could help me figure this out. The first is my female the second is my male.

    Thanks for the help!

There's no way to really tell a "line" from a different one unless you bought it as a certain "line" In my eyes a pastel is a pastel...

Either way you have some beautiful pastels there! Looks like you've got a nice mojave in there too....

    Re: What kind of pastel?

I am always hearing people say lemon bumble bee looks better than jungle bumble bee etc. So I was wondering if anyone can tell what mine where by appearance. Either way I have a nice spider and ian g black pastels to make some bumble bees, pewters, as well as super pastels. That is my Mojave hiding in the back there. Her tub was more accessible for photos.

Lemon is NERD's line of pastel...they do tend to be a little bit brighter than your normal pastels on average.

They're selling Pastels like that at Pet Shops now? Wow! Some of the pet shops around here carry Pastels from time to time, but none of them are as high quality at your two. Congrats on picking those guys up!!!

Don't mind my cardboard boxes, they are temporary. I have hides coming from RBI.

Is your pastel in the same cage as that mojo?

No my pastels' tub is on top of my rack. My mojos tube was easier to photograph in.

    Re: What kind of pastel?

They look like the same line. Colour can be pretty variable with pastels, especially if they are from the same male and different normal females.
Hard to tell from pics, but nice pastels!!!

Pictures never do these guys justice. In person the male is much brighter than the female. I can't wait to make supers! I still have a couple years.
