Is this RI?
Question. Last Sat was feeding day and just before I was ready to feed her she drank and then stretched up and opened her mouth and sort of gagged and blew bubbles at the same time I noticed that she was pooping.
She ate and there was no problems - she has no weezing/ heavy breathing and I held her and she appeared fine, then last night - feeding time again I noticed her drinking and then start kind of rolling and twisting and did it again and this time blew bubbles and had some brown liquid come out of her mouth - She urated and then closed her mouth and started looking for her dinner. and then just hung out searching the viv as always
Hot temo = 92.5
cool side = 72
Humidity is at 40-42%

humidity is a lil low and the cold side is low if thats ur surface temp. and or ambient temp. i would say it could possible be or she is choking. however every time she drinks. that would be odd. and i dont think this is usually behavior either. mouth breathing is a sign of RI does she do this?

Re: Is this RI?
If you are concerned, go to the vet. Also, your cool side is way to low, this could be the cause of the RI (if it is one). Your cool side should be at least 80 and your humidity should be 50%

Re: Is this RI?
No there is no mouth breathing
and by all other signs she appears to be fine. This happened only 2 times and each time a week apart. She is not laboring in breathing and not breathing through her mouth
no signs of bubbles or mucus at any other time in her nose or mouth.
Will get her to the vet on Tues as they are closed tomorrow.
Upping the temps hot to 95 and cool to 80 (checking the ambiant temp is actually about 75 not 70
Will also add the humidifier that I made for out geckos to her viv and see if anything shows. She appears fine and even when held was OK
