    Should I worry?

I posted before about how I recently found my bp after her beein missin for like 2 months. I left her alone for about 2 3 days. I tried feeding her and no luck. She lost some weight but nothing serious i dont think. She seems more aactive then i can remember her being. I also see her drinking water a lot. At point should I be concerned?

if she physicaly looks ok i would just allow her to settle for a week or 2 then offer some food. she is probably drinking as a result of dehydration. and she is probably a little bit stressed from the abnormal temperature ranges lack of water and or food. seeing as she was lost dont really know how stressed she is from it because you dont know where she has been.

She is doing the "I am in a strange place and I want to get out" cruising around. Give her more time and offer again. If she is full grown, she should be fine.

    Re: Should I worry?

Is she a baby, a yearling or a fully mature BP? How much weight (or percentage of her body weight) do you think she's lost?

We had an adult female get lost in our big old 100 year old home for 4 months. She lost a very small amount of weight but like yours was nervous and very thirsty at first. I'd suggest you just keep yours warm, offer water, monitor her for any signs of illness (RI, etc.) and try a smaller than normal meal in about a week. If she eats and has no problems digesting then feed every 7 days gradually increasing her meals in size until she's back on her normal feeding pattern.
