anybody know whats going on with this?
Hey guys and gals. I noticed a issue with my male albino and was wonding if its something I need to be worried about. He has a couple of marks on the back of his neck, the rest of him seems normal and he is acting normal. They look like little mice bites or something but I feed frozen. A few points that may be of interested
1) he last ate on 1/16
2) he eats F/T
3) shed two weeks ago
4) was breeding with my female last week.
5) ive recently add a few new baby snakes from a reputalble breeder to my collection, but I didnt quarentine them.
6) his nostrils seem a little more red than my females, Im not sure if Im just wanting to see that though.
7) room temp flucuates some but his hot side is always around 92F
Im tryin to add pictures but this is my first time doing this so bear with me

I think you answered your own question. You didn't quarantine. Something came over on your new snakes, and unfortunately it's carried into your albino. Hopefully it's nothing serious.

Re: anybody know whats going on with this?
minij that was not my question. Im not looking for a lecture on quarentining Im asking for help and opinions. I know I should have quarintined but I didnt. I have a small collection and appartment and I could only do what I can do, it was a risk that i took for better or worse.
Ok moving on, I got the pictures figured out. Does this look like anything to anyone?

Hi,
Could he have scraped it trying to force his way under something - or out of the enclosure?
If in doubt then it might be an idea to schedule a vet visit for your peace of mind.

Thx D, I was thinking it looked more like an injury of some sorts, and today it seems like its doing better. My plan is to keep an eye on it and take him to the vet on monday if he's not looking better. That is unless someone else has some other insight.
I should add that no other snake, including the new ones, are showing any similar signs.
