    it didnt kill it before he ate it..
    just like down it went squealing and everything..

    what size mouse was it? If it was a small mouse or fuzzy then the snake should be fine.

    Sometimes they don't bother constricting the smaller prey items, rat pups or smaller don't put up much of a fight and appararently go down smooth alive as well as dead.

    Don't worry, it's suffocated by now, if you can't see any injuries on your snake then it should be okay. I'd say move to f/t for that snake since it may do it again.

    very small fuzzy mouse..
    he always squeezes his frozen DEAD ones.. so the one time i give him a live one he doesnt squeeze it or anything

    Maybe he just wanted to feel what it would be like wiggling all the way down. My dad used to eat tiny fish right out of the water and said it was cool cause they wriggled on the way down.

    haha.. he seems to be fine.. i just didnt know if they could eat them totally alive.. so it freaked me out.
    i can just imagine the little guy clawing his way out. aha

    luckily fuzzies have small claws, im unsure if they are even fully developed.

    either way others are correct its not uncommon for small prey to get swallowed live they suffacate quickly as the snakes stomach muscles are rather strong.

    although with your first post i was inclined to think your snake constricted first lol i didnt get it haha
