I dont use tubs to save space. I keep my snakes in tubs because its easier to provide the the temp/humidity requirements they need! Also easier to maintain a sterile environment. I like to keep my snakes happy, so if i have to give up visually appealing setups to make sure they are provided for then so be it! But i agree that keeping one snake in a nice setup wouldnt be tough, i like having alot of snakes
