    Purchase or build your own?

Well I got together with my buddy Trey (mxrider42, fireballpythons.com) this weekend and we got some wood cut for some new racks for both of us. So what do you guys do, do you all build your own racks, purchase premade racks, or a little of both? I have two pvc hatchling racks, but other than that all were built by me, and I think I will keep doing that, just to save some dough for ball pythons.

I don't know what to do. I have been building, but I kinda want to buy too, just to see what is best.

I build. Can build multiple for the price of one pro-fab rack.

I know, its great, thats why we build, and you can still purchase the vision tubs and use them in your own rack, and still be able to build a rack for half the price or less than a new premade vision rack.

I've actually been thinking about this one quite a bit myself. I wish I could get expanded pvc for a decent price around here, I'd love to reduce the weight on my racks. I've been thinking about building one from aluminum, but that would still be pretty pricey.

I build my own, but I would like to buy some rack systems from ARS Caging one day.

First racks were purchased, I built a 52 tubs hatchling rack last year, I am in the process of building a small rack for juvies and one or 2 for my adults.
