    Borneo's Colors as They Age

Do they tend to brown out and fade out with age? I see tons of striking, very dark with well defined patterned neonate borneos but to be honest I haven't seen an adult to match. An example of this is the currently available Borneos on bloodpythons.com. IMO the babies look much different (and better) than their parents. So what's the deal? Do they change much with age? Or have I just not seen a big enough sample of adults? Thanks.

Re: Borneo's Colors as They Age

Sorry, I think I worded my question wrong. On Kara's website the baby Borneo's have lots of black on their backs which contrasts beautifully with their lighter spots and patterns. But the parents have little or no black in them at all. So you're saying that the black in the neonates tends to get lighter and lighter until its brown?
    Thanks,
    -Dennis

    Agreed.

Drew, do you have any pics? I'd love to see some more Borneo's even if they aren't chronologically taken! Haha.

Jesus My borneo is about 9 months and only 600 grams ans shes never missed a meal. What are you feeding that thing miracle grow? Always confuses me when I see animals this young that are that big already. I must just have slow growers or something. Sorry to hijack the thread.
