Chances are they were the "hot topic" kind. Lolita is pretty exclusive (kinda crappy I know) and many people try to wear the fashion with poor execution.

Maybe one day you will see me and go "What is up with her??" I am thinking about wearing lolita to a future reptile convention, but I am afraid there might be too many "creepy middle-aged men"...if you know what i mean
