I've found the best way to combat humidity problems is to use a humid hide box. It's not necessary for the entire enclosure be maintained at the proper humidity as long as the snake has someplace to go to find it and can choose for itself what type of environment it wants to be in.

The best way to do this is to get a plastic storage box that your snake will fit inside (they generally like a tighter fit better), fill it half full of damp sphagnum moss and cut an access hole in the top or side so that your snake has some place damp to hide if it wants to.
