I collect art as well as snakes... the art buying has fallen to the wayside as the snakes are the priority. Once they become self-sustaining, and I see a day that can happen, then I will probably buy art again.

But my partner and I throw vernissages as well and curate shows, so we end up acquiring art in othe ways (trades and barter) so we still are increasing our collection even without conventional purchases.

My partner is an artist and we make custom lighting as well, so we are able to use that as well to barter and trade... just need to find someone that wants to trade snakes for lighting, that would be about perfect.
