belly pictures please?
my ball python's belly is just very slightly pink-tinged, and he just finished shedding recently. I'm wondering if I should be worried about it. Does anyone have pictures of what the underside should look like? He's 500 grams and had been eating 1 mouse each time he was fed until I got him a few weeks ago, and I fed him a 50 g rat on tuesday. Is there a chance the larger food item would have caused some temporary irritation or something? it's really not very obvious, just in some areas it's pinkish.
ETA: less than two weeks ago, he had a fecal culture done w/no problems

Re: belly pictures please?
Sometimes a large meal will induce a shed cycle. That is what I have heard. Hopefully some other people can confirm that?

Re: belly pictures please?
thank you both! that makes sense that the big meal would have caused it, I doubt if he had ever been fed one week after another like that, let alone the size increase.
I'll wait a few days, hopefully he'll go opaque.
