    Re: Albino ball python?

I got mine from Vin Russo for $600 at the white plains expo. As far as eating when I got him he was on live hoppers and in 2 feeding he was eating f/t rat pups. Now he's eating f/t small rats.

    Re: Albino ball python?

if you're really patient, shop around for a while and look at all the different prices. Males, I've seen go from 500-600 before shipping, females 500-700 before shipping. You could get lucky though and find lower prices, but it does depend on the animal and what the breeder would rate it as I guess o.O

I spent $450 on my female, found a local hobbyist breeder and I got lucky She's really high contrast, and she doesn't have any white spots (Imo white spots in the yellow make dirty albinos). She's a fantastic eater too, I loves her

I had a nice female up for $450, ended up trading her for geckos.

Just remember that there's nothing wrong with spending a little extra money for a really nice Albino from a breeder with a good reputation. Especially if you're attracted to the high contrast Albinos like I am.

    Males - $500
    Females - $600-$650

Size matters, of course. An '08 who is pushing 500+ grams is going to cost more.

And we can't forget appearance, either. What a ball python eats (mice vs. rats) and how it looks are also things you should consider. A female being sold at a great price may actually be mouse feeder. If you're looking for an animal to be a breeder, a rat feeder (females in particular) is a must.
