    Re: Monty the python

I named my JCP Monty, but NOT after Monty Python. My sister brought up the name and I really like it.

I get sick of people commenting "Oh, haha, I get it, from Monty Python!" though...

    Re: Monty the python

My first Ball python was a little female named Montessa Python, because she was a girl...
I have since gone on and when rescuing ball's named them after all things "ball",
Such as Musket ball, tennis ball, soccer ball.
I have placed All in new homes except our big female who is named Lucille Ball -python.
And the Pastel Stig, named for another snake on here.. and he is a pastell.. lol

    Re: Monty the python

Nope. And I wouldn't name one that. I'm a fan of Monty Python but the name Monty is gross and naming a snake that would be corny. I prefer names that work for the snake based on attitude, pattern, etc.

    Re: Monty the python

I decided that I had to conform so I named my snake Monty (didn't wanna seem like I have my own thoughts)
