    Well, first and foremost a locality, possibility of it being co-dom/dominant according to VPI.

    Apparently, taken from VPI's website;

    "This is the common morph found in the Lake Toba region of northern Sumatra. This appearance is inherited in the first generation, but we do not know if it is a dominant or a codominant trait."

    So it would appear so?!

    That is a beautiful snake! I really like it. The sides look like the Red Blood version of the Marble/Granite Borneo. The top is really nice to, I really like the dark speckling. Very nice snake!
