You can just use standard 1/2 inch plywood. It is stronger, lighter, and doesn't cost a lot.

    Re: question

Okay... so if this cage is so big.. as big as your claiming it is why dont you just divide it into 2 cages with a piece of wood in the middle and put a UTH on each side with a thermostat and 2 hides for each and just but a lttle 10-15 gal tank with a UTH for your new one. Its not that difficult to do all this and its all pretty cheap. If you cant afford to house all your animals properly you shouldnt have them at all.. No matter how bad you want them. It took me almost a year to get my rack setup so i can expand my collection. Just be patient dude, snakes aren't going extint any time soon.

When I get my tub going I am going to give newspaper a try. I hear great things about it.
I use newspaper for all my tubs, its real easy in my opinion

Alright Dude, it takes a big man to admit that he was wrong on such a public Forum. I admire that. What say we just start things over between us. I think you see that I and everyone here just have the well being of your snakes in mind. Trust me, the benefit for you is that happy and healthy Balls are really fun to interact with.
