I'm going to guess that I need to heat the mouse heads a little more before feeding. I only left them out of the fridge for 30 minutes. I'll bump that up to an hour also.

BTW, the live mice stunk way more than the dead ones.

I run them through hot tap water for a bit & then blow dry their heads. Makes them warm & stinky
