    Hi,

    Bear in mind it still won't be cheap though. Oh and I would hit up some breeders for their take on the import/ export process and, more crucially, the time it takes for the cites permits to come through.

    When I first asked about importing to the UK from America I was told 7-10 days for the import permit from the UK but possibly as much as 6 months for the export permit from America.

    It might be worth asking if any experienced shippers would hold him for you till all the paperwork was in place and you had settled in then ship him to you.
