    FlexWatt power usage

    I am Building a new rack currently and i wanted to use 2 pieces of 11 inch flex watt. probably about 4 feet long. How much is this going to affect my electric bill. is it going to go through the roof?

    It will be about the equivalent to adding an extra incandescent lightbulb or two to your house. Flexwatt is highly efficient because you're not losing a bunch of energy to the production of light. It all goes into heat

    is it better than running a single zoo med heat pad for each cage, besides the price of a zoomed pad.

    11" Flex is 20 watts per foot.

    20 watts /ft x24hrs is 480 watts per tub x ?6 tubs 2880 ttl watts per day. less than $1 a day.
