That part really cracked me up.

I hate the dentist too - I dislike strangers hands in my mouth. I went to the same dentist for 20 years - since my first tooth and he retired a few years ago and I've been making do with dentist that aren't nearly as good anymore. *sigh* I actually have to get 4 wisdom teeth out... but I've been putting it off...

At least they are out, right?

I'm a nurse, and know what to expect, and like a few others that have posted I've had not so perfect experiences, it was so bad when I was younger I'd have a white knuckled death grip on the arm cushions of the dental chair, and i'd start to draw my knees up to my chest lol. Now when I make a dental appt. I tell them to presribe me 2 valium to take an hr before my appt.

I had to see 2 dentists over the last year for a checkup and then a root canal.

The 1st one was all on fire over politics. Hated Obama, hated Clinton even more, and the whole time he was picking away on my teeth with that damn hook they like to use he was preaching the almighty word of John Mcain and the Republican party.

The man was very emotional.


The 2nd joker did a root canal in 45 minutes, I never felt a thing, and then charged me $1,000.


The moral of this story: I should have been a dentist.

I haven't been to the dentist in 15 year, and the above post is exactly why. Luckily, I have not had any cavities, or anything of that nature.
