I'm on the quarter system, not semesters. I just started a few weeks ago though. I'm taking sociology of the childhood, methods in sociology, psychology of adolescence, and earth sciences 100

I think methods is the most difficult one. There are a lot of new concepts being thrown around I am not very familiar with.
That is exactly what mine is, just when I have explained it people like that before I get the "huh?"

It is basically about the social construction of race, class and gender, and how that applies/sets the rules and ideologies for the culture entirely. I find it interesting and I am enjoying the class, but most of the student body despises the dreaded ISS and IAH (Integrated Social scice/Arts and Humanities) that force students to have at least some rounded'ness to their curriculum. Lucky for me, I like those kind of social, and often controversial topics. I think when/if I donate, that will be a loose topic for my member forum...basically a discussion about whatever academic'ish topic I am tuned into at the time.
