    first off I look for odd eye color and clear belly, but I also look for different colors or patterns. Here's pics of my dinkers:

    Purple tint female, odd pattern w/ clear belly:



    Female w/ intense blushing and mostly key hole pattern:



    WC female, Axanthic looking:



    Male high orange, odd pattern:



    Male possible shatter pattern + stripe:

    Ball pythons: 1.2 pastel, 1.0 Black Pastel 1.0 mojave(green) 0.1 spider, 1.0 het pied, 1.0 het clown, 1.1 het albino, 0.1 pos het albino, 1.0 shatter, 0.2 normals, 0.1 reduced pattern, 0.3 dinkers
    Corn snakes: 1.0 blood, 0.1 het blood, 0.1 snow, 0.0.1 reverse okeetee
    Geckos: 2.1.2 crested gecko, 0.0.1 leopard gecko
    Boas: 1.0.1 sand boas
    Other: 1.1 mini australian shepherd, 2.0 cats

    My jaw literally dropped when I saw these pictures, gorgeous!

    All of you have some really nice eyecatching dinkers.

    I've got a lil 08 girl, she's got a couple nice little hooks, really odd pattern (like a cinny, with the connected heads and whatnot, hardly any alieneyes, blahblah), and her eyes are a light gold-green at the top and fade to a dark green towards the bottom..I would take a pic but she's a freaking devil and she already tagged my nose today, I don't feel like holding her anymore right now

    Not a stupid question at all. A dinker is just an unproven trait or appearance. Something you're just "dinkin" around with, hoping it will prove to be genetically inheritable.
