haha yeah that sounds good, no I have a vpi axanthic, not a spider although I would like one but I have no idea what Ill get there, Ill probably just decide on the spot with whatever I see that I like. I love the Hypos and Mojos but the Spider has alot of potential I dunno we will see..... And yeah you guys are gonna have to restrain me from buying the first one I see because I do that alot.

Well, here's an idea.... and I'm just thinkin here..... Since your axanthic is a male, get yourself a spider female and a hypo female then in a couple years you can breed axanthic to hypo for double het babies (100% het hypo, 100% het axanthic), raise them up and try for the True Ghost! I'll see if I can find some pics of them because they are HOT definitely worth the wait . And then you've got your axanthic X spider to try for spiders het ax and not too long after axanthic spiders! They're both longish projects (3-4 years minimum) but if they pan out for ya you'll have some awesome looking animals!

Re: Need help on deciding what to get at the White Plains show

Alright first off I vote against Albinos. I don't like them at all, in fact I dislike them, lol.

What I'd choose in this order are:

    Co-dom Traits:
    Fire
    Lesser
    Butter
    Pastel
    Mojave

    Recessive:
    Pied
    Desert
    Clown
    Axanthic
    Ghost
    Lavender

    Dominant:
    Spider

As I said before those are all in order of what I would take. In your case I assume you're aiming at the 1000 dollar range? So I'd probably go with either what I got myself (Pastel and Fire) or something more like a Spider and a co-dom trait of your choosing. Possibly a Pastel, especially if you can get a Lemon, however a Butter or a Lesser would be nice as well. Alternatively you could get something and a hypo, then breed the hypo to one of your other snakes as well as what you get, breeding the offspring together to get a hypo crossed with whatever you picked before. If you get a hypo just about anything else you get will look good as a Hypo/whatever. Because Hypos make some stunning combination.

A Spider and a Pastel would work very nicely, or perhaps, if you can get it, a Spider, a Pastel, and maybe something else (Mojave perhaps).
    Ball Pythons 1.1 Lesser, Pastel
1.0 Lesser Pastel, 0.0.7 mixed babies
