    Possible shed? pictures

I am worried about my snake! For the past 3 days he just sits in his hide that i made into a humid hide- im worried about scale rot and his eyes have gotten LESS cloudy?

I got him a month ago and he hasnt shed yet- He seems blind and more scared then ussual. his neck looks wrinkly and his eyes look more cloudy then they do in the picture. Can anyone tell me if i should take his humid hide out? so he doesnt get scale rot?

    Re: Possible shed? pictures

When a python is going into shed they get cloudy. Just before they actually shed, they go clear.
Give him a little more time. As long as there's no sign of belly rot, I'd leave the humid hide in, since it sounds like he's right on schedule for a good shed.
Good luck, and hope this helped.

Nick, give this a look. It's a great explanation of the process.

Thanks everyone who helped out- Nyoka started and finished his shedding- i beleive he did it in his hide and then pushed it out? it is right infront of the doorway- there is no way he could get into the hide with the shed infront of it! Strange little dude.....
