They really could have done a better job....
Story wise, i was glad to see Lucians past covered. Hes a cool character.
Saw it last night, and i say. meh. Good... But not awesome.
The end is the best part of the movie, to be honest.

Werewolf movies +1! Can't wait for Wolfman to come out. Good werewolf movies seem to be few and far between.

I have to agree with you, it's good but not awesome. I thought the same of the first two Underworlds, good but not awesome. As long as I don't come away from a movie thinking "Wow, that sucked", then good enough for me. 
The whole movie reminded me of the Helms Deep scene from LOTR: The two Towers, but with vampires and werewolves.

Well it's not like Kate didn't make an appearance. Glad they tied it into the first one though. I really liked that part of it. But the look of oh crap I had on my face in the final fight scene was priceless (with the lycans stampeding across the rocky plain).
